OUR AIMS

The aims of Barton Pre-school Nursery

At Barton Pre-school Nursery we aim to assist the emotional, physical and educational development of the young children in our care, by providing suitable activities in a safe caring and stimulating environment. We also aim to encourage parents in their important role as their childs first educator and work in partnership with them under the guidelines of the new Early Years Foundation Stage.

We aim to help the children to develop socially, to be able to communicate, be aware of the needs of others and to appreciate right from wrong.

To improve pre-school numeracy and literacy skills through games, stories and songs.

To develop the childrens physical and creative abilities through music and movement, craft activities and play.

To ensure the children develop self-confidence and belief in their abilities.
