This half-term, we have had the privilege of witnessing the remarkable growth and development of you in your ability to express yourself with clarity, confidence and enthusiasm. You have truly embraced the value of articulation and have set a shining example for your peers to follow. From the classroom to group discussions, you have demonstrated an impressive ability to communicate your ideas effectively. You have not only used words thoughtfully but have also listened with care to others, ensuring conversations flow with respect and understanding. Whether explaining complex ideas or sharing simple thoughts, you consistently show maturity in your expression, making sure your words are clear and your points are heard. Keep up the excellent work! CONFIDENCE

I am thrilled to celebrate you and your remarkable progress in confidence this half-term. It's been so rewarding to see you consistently eager to contribute to our class discussions, offering very confident articulate reasoning, especially in maths. Your ideas and problem-solving methods have been nothing short of impressive! What’s even more remarkable is how you are applying your confidence to independent activities. You don’t just stop at finding solutions; you go the extra mile by helping your peers. You take the time to share your methods that you’ve developed, offering guidance rather than just telling people the answers. This collaborative spirit not only enhances your own learning but fosters a supportive environment for everyone whilst building your confidence in your own abilities. It has been an absolute pleasure seeing your journey towards becoming more self-assured and confident in class. Keep it up - your enthusiasm and confidence is contagious!

FORGIVENESS

You are such a mature and understanding person. The way you navigate friendships and conflicts is so impressive for someone so young. We are really proud of how you understand your friends and their reactions to different situations. You are caring and kind. There have been a couple of times this term when you have stood up for your friends and helped them to sort out conflicts with other children. This has shown your understanding of forgiveness and your maturity.  Well done.

GENEROSITY

You truly embody the spirit of generosity in everything you do. You consistently show kindness and selflessness, always ready to help others, whether in the classroom, on the playground or in everyday situations. Your generosity shines through in your actions. You are the first to offer a hand to classmates who need help, whether it's sharing your pencils, helping someone with their work, or offering to help them get ready for P.E. Your caring nature makes you a wonderful friend to everyone you meet. What stands out about you is your ability to give without expecting anything in return. Whether it's giving up your turn to let others play or sharing a favourite book with a classmate, you show us that true generosity is about making others feel special and cared for. We are so proud of you for living out the value of generosity every day. You make our school a better, brighter place with your caring spirit. Keep being the wonderful, generous person you are - you are truly an inspiration to us all!

HAPPINESS

Reception class have been in school for a whole term now and you have greeted every day with a smile. You spread happiness everywhere.  You can hear this when you giggle with your friends and you share your sense of humour with the staff in class too. A few weeks ago, you asked me if I had a Daddy because you had made a picture I could give him to make him smile. More recently you brought in a picture for all the adults in class and others around school too, which you presented with a huge smile. Whatever happens; a grazed elbow, a football fall or a falling out, you are quick to find your smile and find something to be happy about. You are a joy to have in class and can be counted on to be polite, caring and helpful. Thank you for being such a superstar and a real ray of sunshine.

INDIVIDUALITY

It’s been truly wonderful to see you embracing your individuality this term! Your vibrant personality has really started to shine in class, particularly during our acting sessions for our playscript topic in English lessons. Whether you are portraying a character or collaborating with your classmates, you bring a unique flair that perfectly represents creativity, laughter and individuality. Outside of the classroom, you have been producing some absolutely stunning pieces of artwork. It has truly been inspiring to witness your creativity flourish, as you have been bringing in your drawings to share with the class. Each piece reflects your own personal style and unique perspective, capturing the essence of who you are. Your spirit and creativity have made our classroom a brighter place, and we are all so excited to see how you continue to grow and express your amazing individuality. Keep shining!

INTEGRITY

This year, I have witnessed you embrace a remarkable change in your ambitions. You are someone who does not shy away from challenges but instead approaches them with an open mind and a determination to improve. What sets you apart from others is your willingness to accept feedback and not take it as criticism. You welcome suggestions, not as criticism, but as tools to become better - not for praise or recognition, but because you believe in doing your best for your own sake. Perhaps the most inspiring quality I have seen in you this year, is your ability to be the bigger person. In situations that might lead others to anger or resentment, you choose understanding. You do not hold grudges but instead look forward, always striving to learn, grow and build stronger relationships. Your quiet strength, humility, and unwavering integrity is an example for all of us. You remind us that being kind, fair, and honest is not only the right thing to do but the best way to inspire those around us. We are so proud of you, and we cannot wait to witness your continued growth.

JOY

There are certain people who shine bright with a light that brings warmth and happiness to everyone they meet. You are one of these people, whose infectious joy lifts all of those around you, making each day brighter. It’s not just your smile or your laughter, but the genuine kindness and positivity that you radiate, which makes you so deserving of the value Award for Joy. Whether it’s a word of encouragement, a thoughtful gesture, or simply being present with a warm heart, you exemplify the true spirit of joy - one that is shared, selfless, and sincere. This award celebrates not only your ability to find joy in life but also your talent for spreading that joy to others. Your joy is a gift to the whole school, and we are all better for it. Congratulations on receiving the Value Award of Joy - may you continue to brighten our lives for many years to come.

JUSTICE

I am so proud of the way that you have handled some difficult situations with your friendship group this half-term. After quickly forgiving another member of our class, you immediately showed the value of justice by recognising the importance of ensuring that all children were treated fairly and that nobody was being left out. You sought support from adults to help you build back trust between your friends. I was also delighted when you came to me and made some suggestions about how your friends could play again as a group. You have matured into a very kind, caring little girl who has a very strong sense of fairness and justice. Well done, you more than deserve this award.

KINDNESS

From the minute you stepped foot into the Year 3 classroom, I knew that I could always rely on you to show the school value of kindness. Watching you interact with the other children truly showed your unwavering sense of concern for others. You are always ready to lend a helping hand and ensure that those around you are able to complete the task before you tackle your own work. Your selflessness is incredible to see - you consistently put the needs of others before your own and because of this, you have become the first person that people turn to for support. You always do this in a humble, quiet way, without ever expecting anything in return. I am so grateful for your enduring kindness - please never change!

RESILIENCE

Resilience is the ability to rise after facing adversity, and no one has demonstrated this trait more powerfully than you. After enduring a serious accident on the playground, you showed remarkable courage, strength, and determination in your recovery. It is this unwavering resilience that has earned you the well-deserved resilience award this half-term. From the moment of your injury, your strength shone through. Despite the pain and uncertainty, you faced every challenge with a positive attitude and a relentless will to recover. Your bravery and patience during this difficult time inspired everyone around you - teachers, classmates, and friends alike. Through each step of your recovery, you showed incredible perseverance, never allowing setbacks to define you. Your ability to keep moving forward has been a testament to your resilience. This award is not just for overcoming an accident; it is for the spirit and courage you have displayed throughout this process. You have shown us all that resilience is not just about bouncing back, but about growing stronger through adversity. Your strength and determination have made a lasting impact on all of us. You have proven that with resilience, anything is possible. Congratulations on receiving the Resilience Award - we are incredibly proud of you.

SERVICE

Thank you for being so helpful and kind. You are always the first person to notice when a job needs doing and the last person to sit down at tidy up time. You have carried props and resources to and from church with us (at your insistence) and made sure that all of the children have all of their parts of costume ready to go. You regularly sort out the reading folders for us and you are an excellent milk monitor. We have been so proud of how grown up you have become already this year and I know it isn't just us who have noticed. Keep it up.
