Contacting a Member of Staff

The Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher are available in the playground on most days.  Many parental queries and concerns can be dealt with at this time.  It is also possible to make appointments with the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher or your child’s class teacher through the school office.  Every attempt is made to make appointments as soon as possible so that concerns can be dealt with quickly.

Due to our policy of children making their way to the classrooms independently at the start of the day, teachers are not available for a quick word before school as they are already busy with pupils in class.  If you need to pass on a message in the morning, please speak to the school office, the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher on duty or write a brief not for your child to hand to the class teacher. Alternatively speak to the teacher when they bring their class to the playground at the end of the day.  Please do understand however, that talking at length at the classroom door or in the playground is difficult so if you need to talk to your child’s class teacher in more detail or in private, please make an appointment directly with them or through the office.
