Welcome to Year 1

Our class teacher is Mrs. Rogerson and our teaching assistants are Mrs. Roddam and Mr. Mitchell, our apprentice.

We include continuous provision in all of our lessons and children are encouraged to challenge and stretch themselves within our engaging areas of provision. We have been very busy updating our provision over the summer holidays to ensure it is engaging, challenging and following the children's interests. As you can see from the images in our gallery, we have kept the environment neutral and calming to allow the children to focus on their self chosen tasks. The enhancements and resources within each area will change as we move through our topics. We will always try to reflect the children's interests and fascinations in our provision.

If you need to have a quick word with a member of staff, please see them at school pick up or drop off. There is always a member of staff on duty. Anything that may require a longer conversation should take place in a pre-arranged meeting. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.
